At 8:28 Sports Ventures, our mission is to foster sports communities across the country by offering expert level coaching, comprehensive representation, a dedication to the full development of both student and professional athletes in both athletic and life skills, and to stimulate community economic growth and engagement.
Every aspect of our business plan is guided by our belief “that all things work together.” We are based out of Atlanta, Georgia but operate globally through our Sports Venture verticals:
8:28 Sports Agency
We provide effective solutions for athletes designed to maximize earning potential
Our Sports Agency goal is to provide each client with the highest quality representation, unmatched personal attention, guidance, and services to athletes who want to maximize their potential both on and off the court. The agency consists of industry professionals with countless years of experience in contract negotiations, marketing, public relations, community relations, digital media, and brand building.
8:28 Sports Institute
We support those 99% of dedicated athletes who may never hit the elite status of the 1%.
We promote a sports-specific academic curriculum, along with preparing our student-athletes for sports careers through our Sports Careers Foundation that will include but not be limited to Sports Science, Tech, Analytics, and the Early Pro Development Program. Our biggest success has been in evaluating talent as an early teen, by developing relationships with the coaches and parents.
8:28 Sports Tourism
Our tourism plan ties our 8:28 Sports Ventures solutions together to create community growth, educational investment, brand and media exposure and a pathway for student athletes to complete a successful and fulfilling sports lifecycle—from performance to sports career options and an understanding of the strength and power of using their gifts for a greater purpose.
We create accessibility for parents and student athletes from all walks of life.
8:28 Sports Media
We create and manage live sports content including real time games, events, and play-by-play updates.
It is key to our mission that we promote our programs and athletes through multiple platforms to tell our story to support teams, parents, communities, key business stakeholders, and team/players and fans. Today spectators are not just watching a sports event, but expect to receive instant and immediate interaction. This enables us to engage with our fans and supporters and to turn our athletes and staffers into influencers. This is particularly true for younger fans who are just forming lifelong alliances and brand loyalties.
8:28 Sports Academy
The Sports Academy is committed to fostering excellence in both academics and sports while focusing on student athletes from ages 13 to 19 with a holistic approach to academics, athletics, and a plan for long-term life success. We look to maximize each student-athlete’s abilities and set goals to prepare them for college, pro careers or other paths to athletic lifelong learning and participation. We deliver state-of-the-art facilities, events, high-tech training, one-on-one and team coaching, and deluxe accommodations for all participants.
